TACKLE FOOTBALL Des plaines jr warriors football is open to boys and girls AGES 5-14 Athletes are taught THE fundamentals of tackle football and learn the skills necessary to advance into high school football. Volunteering: $200 CHECK WILL BE HELD FROM EACH FAMILY-AFTER 2 volunteer commitments have been fulfilled we will return the uncashed check. Since we are a volunteer-based organization, we ask that all parents help out where they are able to. Typical responsibilities we need assistance with are parade participation, organizing events, setup and take down of events, concessions at football games, and fundraising and sponsorship efforts. Fundraising Requirements: Jr Warriors Cheer will expect each Cheerleader to participate in our fall fundraiser. WHAT IS 7 on 7?
This fast-paced game, played with seven players on each side, brings a fresh twist to the sport by emphasizing skill, strategy, and agility. 7 on 7 football, also referred to as “7v7 football,” is a high-octane, non-contact version of the traditional tackle football game. Unlike flag football, which uses a different set of rules, 7 on 7 football maintains some essential characteristics of its larger counterpart. This variant typically involves skill position players, such as quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs, linebackers, and defensive backs, competing on a smaller field.
